Outreach Committee

The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to foster involvement of EPSE/LAMP Alumni in support of the EPSE and LAMP programs, and their alumni.

  • Develop & Distribute the newsletter, 3x per year
  • Organize and manage lumni event/party 1-2x per year
  • Outreach presentation to EPSE and LAMP classes
  • Maintenance of the Networking/professional social networking site LinkedIn group for Alumni
  • Maintainance of the database/Alumni listserve.
 
 

Edgetrends (Events)

Edgetrends is led by a panel of EPSE/LAMP alumni whose objective is to continue your Classroom experience following graduation and to be an avenue for further networking .  The Edgetrend Committee's goal is to sponsor at least 3 events per year.  Topics will be chosen from the Committee's ideas, Alumni Board, and from inputs given during Edgetrend events.  Topics range from Panel discussions on Product Development, Outsourcing, Effectively working with your CFO to classes like Finance.  The events usually occur in the morning and last roughly 1-2 hours.  The fees range from $20 to free.  Stay tuned to the Newsletter and come join us at the next event.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of the group of members that help oversee the operations of the Alumni Board and Association.

  • Oversee the Monthly Meetings
  • Interact with each of the Committees
  • Liase between Alumni Board and UCSD Staff

 

 

Curriculum Committee

The curriculum committee provides feedback to UCSD EPSE and LAMP management on course content and presenters. They meet independently as required and at least a couple of times a year to go over upcoming EPSE and LAMP course schedules and review feedback received from course participants. In addition the committee provides guidance on new course topics, reviews new syllabuses from new presenters and reviews the new presentations in class.

  • Provides Feedback to UCSD on Cource Content & Instructors
  • Review course schedules and arrangement
  • Provides guidance on new topics and curriculum
